Their success is based on international and European standards that are drawn up with the involvement of Austrian experts. Those standards facilitate the import and export of electrical and electronic products and ensure their compatibility.
Be it lighting or heating systems, household appliances or consumer electronics, numerically controlled machinery, IT equipment, medical devices or machine tools - almost nothing works without electricity today. Standards ensure the safe and reliable functioning of equipment and protect the people operating it - against electrical shocks or electromagnetic fields.
