Danube Region Business Forum: 8th and 9th November 2012 in Vienna, Austria
This year the Business Forum will be completely dedicated to environmental technology. Companies and key public-sector decisionmakers from the Danube region will be offering you the unique opportunity to extend your network and make new business contacts throughout the course of the forum. As part of the EU strategy for the Danube region, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber is organising the second Danube Region Business Forum in Vienna, in cooperation with the European Commission's Directorate General for Regional Policy.
This year the event is tailored towards companies from the environmental engineering industry, as well as research institutes and public-sector representatives from the Danube region. Key topics range from sustainable technology to soil remediation, right through to the latest developments from the waste incineration and sewage treatment sectors.
On 8th November 2012 experts will give speeches on the latest trends in environmental engineering. In the afternoons there will be an opportunity for representatives of SMEs, research institutes and industry from throughout the region to participate in additional face-to-face meetings.
On the morning of the 9th November 2012 participants will have the chance to visit a waste incineration plant and sewage treatment plant operated by the City of Vienna.
The Danube Region Business Forum will take place on 8th and 9th November 2012 in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna. The event will be held in English.
