Danube Region Business Forum: 14 and 15 November 2013 in Vienna, Austria

The Business Forum 2013 will be dedicated to information and communication technology. The event offers companies, research institutes and public-sector decisionmakers from the Danube region the unique opportunity to expand their networks and establish new business contacts.

The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber is organising the Danube Region Business Forum in Vienna, now in its third year, as part of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and in accordance with DG Regio, EU-Commission.

This year’s event is tailored to companies from the information and communication technology sector, ICT users, universities, other research institutes and public-sector representatives from the entire Danube region. Key focal points include new ICT developments for universities and business, cloud computing, workshops on e-health and e-invoicing, ICT-related country presentations and cross-border e-solutions in the field of e-government.

On the morning of 14 November 2013, experts will present the latest ICT developments (see above). The afternoon will focus on bilateral meetings (B2B meetings), which all registered participants are invited to attend. Online registration should be completed as early as possible.

On 15 November 2013 participants will have the chance to enjoy a full-day excursion to Linz. The program includes a visit to ARS ELECTRONICA and the IT-Cluster Upper Austria.

The Danube Region Business Forum will be held in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna and the official event language is English.
