UBIMET provides weather information for Formula One Championship

The FIA has now concluded a multi-year contract with Austrian weather service UBIMET . Starting this season, UBIMET will provide the weather forecasts for the Formula One World Championship. With its experienced meteorologists and technicians working onsite at every Formula 1 Grand Prix, UBIMET will be providing the very best in weather information.
Right from the start of the Formula 1 season in Melbourne/Australia, UBIMET provided highly accurate forecasts for the whole of the racetrack. The Austrians also supplied the high-powered live weather information system “onTRACK”, giving the teams all of the necessary data in real time, in addition to a weather ticker for every section of the racetrack.
