Austria offers Assistance to compile National Civil Registry   3. April 2008

General Director of Civil Status Office of Austria, Mr. Oswald Kessler, expressed yesterday his assistance to construct the software of Albanian National Register of Civil Status. He said he is ready to offer the relevant Austrian version.

Kessler declared that in Tirana, during a meeting with Albanian deputy-Interior Minister, Ferdinant Poni, where they discussed the terms of cooperation and the working calendar on the realization of this project.
In this context, Kessler presented a detailed plan on how to implement this project.
Poni made a general picture of the project on the modernization of civil status service in the framework of the project with EU and OSCE. He stressed the will of Interior Ministry and Albanian government to guarantee the European standards in designing and realizing the National Register of Civil Status.

The conclusion of this projet's component will be in compliance with the intergrated agenda of the Interior Ministry in this field.
