Albania is expected to have the biggest economic growth in the Balkans

According to IMF, in 2017 the economic growth in Albania will not be lower than 2.7%

The International Monetary Fund says that the Albanian economy is growing fast and in a progressive way. According to IMF, in 2017, economic growth in Albania will not be lower than 2.7%, making it the country with the highest economic growth in the Balkans. The Albanian economy, which IMF considers as a developing economy, ranks 75th among 190 world economies in terms of economic growth.

IMF predicts that GDP in Albania will increase by 3.7% this year, while the Albanian government says that this growth will be 4% in 2017 and 6% in 2019.
