World Bank: Albania, progressive business reforms

The World Bank has classified Albania among the 10 countries which have undertaken the most progressive business reforms during this year.

This year, Albania is ranked the 86-th nation out 181 nations which are being studied by the World Bank. In the previous year it occupied the 136-th place. According to the World Bank, Albania has realized 4 out of 10 requirements to provide facilities for the business. Some of the mentioned developments include the new Law on the trading enterprises, the implementation of “One Stop Shop” procedure, the drafting of the credit registers, etc. However, there are still remaining problems to be solved related to the business development in the country.
