Trade Mission Australia and New Zealand

The Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Michael Spindelegger, and the President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Dr. Christoph Leitl, will visit Australia and New Zealand together with a delegation of representatives of major Austrian businesses.

The upcoming trip under the heading “Technology and Innovation in Industry and Infrastructure” is being organized by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber with the objective of offering high ranking representatives of Austrian companies interested in pursuing large scale projects in this region a valuable overview of the opportunities in the Australian and New Zealand market.

The delegation will first arrive in New Zealand and spend two and a half days in Auckland and Wellington. The journey will then continue to Sydney and Canberra. The tight schedule of this visit includes meetings, roundtable discussions and functions with members of the Governments of Australia and New Zealand, representatives of business associations as well as major companies in both countries.
