Export prize 2009: Austria's best exporters 12 June 2009

In these times of global economic turbulence, positive news from the corporate world is exceedingly rare. The Federal Economic Chamber is therefore even more pleased to be able to present the “Export winners 2009”, companies who are enjoying international success even in these difficult times.

The highlight of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA’s 2009 “Austria Export Day” - the only export trade fair for Austria - was awarding this year's export prizes to the most successful home-grown export companies. The export prizes recognise the exceptional dedication and success of Austrian companies on foreign markets. The prizes are awarded in the following five categories:

Export prize winner 2009: VIENNA INTERNATIONAL Hotelmanagement AG
Recognition award: PremiaMed, formerly Humanomed Management GesmbH (site in German) , Thermal- und Freizeitzentrum GmbH & Co KG (site in German)

In addition, the special prize "go International Award 2009" went to DOKA GmbH and there was a Recognition award for Michael Leier KG (site in German) .
