Catch all the excitement of the Euro 2008 Soccer Championship opening match on the big screen! Switzerland vs Czech Republic - Sunday, 8 June at 1 a.m. (AEST)  

The Euro 2008 Soccer Championship is being jointly hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

So that Austrian and Swiss expatriates and their friends in Sydney do not miss out on celebrating the opening of Euro 2008  in style, the Austrian Consulate General/Commercial Section has, together with the Swiss Consulate General, organised a big screen viewing of the Opening Match of Euro 2008 between Switzerland and the Czech Republic in the Swissôtel Sydney.

The viewing will be accompanied by an evening filled with fun, games and flavour: there will be table soccer matches, goal-scoring competitions and a buffet of Swiss culinary delicacies on offer. To fuel your team-support energy or, rather, to quench your thirst from having cheered so much, Red Bull and Trumer Pils will be available throughout the night.
