What Dijon mustard is to France, this is what Lustenauer mustard is to Austria. The exquisite mustard creations from Vorarlberg have been delighting mustard lovers across the world for 99 years.

Founded by Richard Bösch in 1911 in Lustenau (Vorarlberg), the company is still managed by the family, now in the third generation. Lustenauer Senf Bösch GmbH & Co KG currently produces around 300 tonnes of mustard each year. To produce the 13 different types of mustard, only natural plant-based ingredients are used; these include black and white mustard seeds, herbs and vinegar. The mustard seeds - including special revegetated varieties - are grown exclusively for Bösch by farmers in Weinviertel (Lower Austria) and in southern Italy.

Production is carried out to traditional methods and recipes, with the greatest care paid to both the product and the environment. One fifth of the mustard is exported.
