OneSKY: The future unified Australian Air Traffic Management system

After successfully delivering a future-proof and customised communication and tower control systems for Sydney Tower, the Austrian company Frequentis now signed a major contract to develop a single system platform that unifies the separate Air Traffic Management systems currently used by Airservices Australia and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Frequentis will work together with prime contractor Thales, a leading supplier for the defence, aerospace and security markets in Australia. For Australia, this is the opportunity to create one national, harmonised, civil-military air traffic management system, ensuring Australia remains a global leader in air traffic management service delivery into the future.
