The largest parallel event to the COP15 in Copenhagen

Within the framework of the COP15 climate Conference in Copenhagen the "Bright Green" business exhibition took place as the largest parallel event separate to the UN-conference. 176 international exhibitors presented environmental technologies and cutting edge climate solutions.

During the exhibition prominent speakers made inspirational speeches. At the grand opening on Saturday morning H.R.H, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Viktoria of Sweden and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway took part in a triple interview on climate. The Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke and the Swedish Minister of Trade Ewa Björling took part in the grand opening as well.

The Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy was present with a very well visited catalogue booth where were represented by enthusiastic members of the Commercial Section. The main attraction of the booth was a solar lighting lamp for outdoor use that attracted quite some attention, even by television. Furthermore three Austrian companies Schiedel AG , Andritz AG , and GE Jenbacher GmbH & Co OHG with their respective subsidiaries in Denmark were represented with individual booths at the exhibition.

The Bright Green was visted by professionals, international participants of the COP15 conference, journalists, numerous Danish CEOs and a broad and interested public including children enjoying some of the numerous entertaining side events and demo sessions.

According to the event organizer approx 15.000 visitors went through the doors during the two exhibition days.
