FoodExpo 2014 in Herning

Austrian pavilion a great success - connoisseurs, purchasers and gastronomes were amazed by tasteful Austrian tradition and innovation. 

From the 16th – 18th March 2014 the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA pavilion at the FoodExpo in Herning formed the perfect platform for the presentation of Austrian delicacies. Connoisseurs, purchasers and gastronomes from all over Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany and China visited the pavilion and were amazed by tasteful Austrian tradition and innovation.

The pavilion buzzed with b-t-b talks, brochures and tasty samples were handed out continuously, i.e. smoked products made in Tyrol that supplemented cheese delicacies made in Vorarlberg in a delicious manner. The cherry on top came from Vienna: innovative vinegar specialties sent directly from the famous Viennese “Naschmarkt”.
 
Representatives from the participating Austrian companies as well as the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA team worked flat out in their efforts to present Austrian quality at its best. All participants look back at a successful event where important first contacts with key buyers from the Danish food industry were made. Because of the great success the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA team is planning to expand the Austrian pavilion at the FoodExpo 2016.
