Scandinavians have an appetite for Austrian organic products

Nordic Organic Food Fair 2016

The Scandinavian market is highly attractive for international food producers due to its high purchasing power. The Nordic Organic Food Fair in Malmö/Sweden in late November showed once more that organic food from Austria is popular in the far North – much to the joy of the six top-class producers Concept Fresh (cheese and dairy), HALE (vegan ‘dairy’ drinks), RAUCH (juice), Genuss Ohne Reue (calorie-free sweetener), VFI (vegetable fats and oils) and JOMA (biodegradable packaging), who participated at the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA group stand. The trade show for natural and organic food, drinks and eco-living products is the biggest in the Nordic region. With nearly 5,000 industry buyers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and suppliers from all over the world, the fair is highly valued among exhibitors for great quality business contacts.

The buzzing wooden ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA stand, organized by the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen, was one of the most popular booths at the fair. By the end of the final day, all business cards were exchanged with promising business partners – a success for all six participants and many more organic products from Austria on the shelves in supermarkets all around Scandinavia can soon be expected.    

Congratulations also to the Austrian exhibitor Belorganic (birch tree water) for winning the prize for the second best organic drink on the fair.
