The University of Southern Denmark Symphony Orchestra will participate at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna in July 2012.
The University of Southern Denmark Symphony Orchestra consists of 60 university students, as well as talented young musicians from the area of Southern Denmark. Under the current, renowned conductor Saul Zaks the orchestra has participated in a wide range of concerts, radio broadcasts and recordings internationally. The diverse repertoire of the orchestra ranges from Scandinavian music to works of new tango-style. The orchestra has been declared as an ensemble with "International experience, class and repertoire."
