Investment Mission to Austria - "Egypt-Austria Investment Day"  Vienna, March 12 - 13, 2008   12. February 2008

The first Egyptian investment mission to Austria will take place in Vienna on March 12 and 13, 2008. The mission will be headed by Eng. Assem Ragab, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI), and is organized by the Egyptian Austrian Business Council (EABC) together with GAFI. The aim is to communicate Egypt's value proposition of benefits to foreign investors, particularly in view of Egypt's economic progress.

On March 12 and 13, 2008, the first Egyptian investment mission to Austria, headed by Eng. Assem Ragab, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI), will take place in Vienna where an "Egypt-Austria Investment Day “ [doc, 40.0kb] will be held. The event is organized by the Egyptian Austrian Business Council (EABC) in cooperation with GAFI and takes place at the premises of the Federation of Austrian Industry in Vienna.

The aim is to communicate Egypt’s value proposition of benefits to foreign investors, particularly on the background of Egypt ’s economic progress and reforms in recent years. The mission will discuss various areas of reform, particularly customs, taxes, and simplified company registrations. Participating Egyptian companies have the opportunity to meet potential Austrian investors.
