The Finland-Austria Business Club was established in 1995.
One of the core functions of the Club is to offer a discussion platform for business people engaged in Finnish and Austrian trade relations.
The purpose of the Club is:
- enhance Austria’s position especially in the field of economy
- enhance the creation of industry and trade contacts between Finland and Austria
- create and establish personal contacts between the Club members
- share and exchange information and experiences
- establish different interest groups and lobbying
In order to achieve these purposes the Club organizes quarterly different events such as presentations, discussions, excursions and social events. On focus are naturally Finland and Austria and current as well as tomorrow’s interesting topics.

Club Activities and Membership
The Business Club has taken an active step towards interesting and versatile activities. Club members have been involved in creating new ideas regarding the activities and the awareness of the Club has become more evident.
As a Club member you have a possibility to express your wishes and opinions regarding the future activities. All members will be informed about the coming events by e-mail and in Facebook in good time.
The Individual membership per year is 20 EUR.
The Annual company membership for one or more persons is 100 EUR.

The Finland-Austria Business Club had the pleasure of visiting Kumera Corporation on 3.5.12. We had an informative and pleasant visit to a modern and internationally operating company. Our hosts the company management gave the SILK members and to our quest Madam Ambassador, Margit Wästfelt an opportunity to see how a well managed company works.
