Austrian Pavilion at IFE 2011

The International Food & Drink Event (IFE) is the UK's largest food and drink event and the ultimate product sourcing event. The organisers expect over 1200 food and drink supliers, distributors and manufacturers and brand owners from around the globe who will showcase their latest products.  Advantage Austria will once again be organising an Austrian Pavilion at IFE 2011.

IFE brings together more British and international buyers and exhibitors than any other UK event. Last year, the high quality audience from retail, food-service and the manufacturing sectors added up to: 22,395 trade buyers from 83 countries (independently audited by ABC) and 1200 exhibitors from 51 countries.

The food and drink industry has long been a main stay of the Austrian economy. Austrian exports to the UK exceed £100 million, and these days there is far more to Austrian cuisine than Apple Strudel and Wiener Schnitzel! Austria has a thriving natural and organic food industry, produces some of the world’s finest wines, makes all kinds of confectionery and patisserie and is a market leader for the production of fruit juices and concentrates. At IFE you can try a wide range of delicious new food and drink products from some of Austria’s best known manufacturers. Most companies are new to the UK market and are looking for stockists and distributors. Many products are already established household names in Austria.
