Timber Expo 2011

Austrian companies will be participating at the inaugural Timber Expo in Coventry this year and Advantage Austria London is proud to be sponsoring a conference session on the use of timber in the commercial building sector.

Timber Expo is the UK’s largest dedicated timber trade event and is co-located with the annual In Touch With Timber conference and Wood Awards 2011 .

Austrian timber is found in numerous buildings across the UK, ranging from the new generation of eco-friendly supermarkets, to sports stadia, to zero carbon schools. The UK’s first Passivhaus certified education building – Hadlow College in Kent - was an Austrian supplied prefabricated timber construction.
