Ecobuild - the UK’s largest gathering of sustainable building professionals - takes place from 1st to 3rd March at the London ExCeL exhibition centre, with 50,000 visitors, 1,300 exhibitors and 100 conference and seminar sessions.
The Austrian Pavilion at Ecobuild (Stand numbers: S510, S520, S610, S620) is back for the fourth consecutive year and this year is larger than ever before. 22 leading companies in the sustainable building sector will be represented in person and showcasing the latest developments from Austria.
Technologies on show include:
- solar thermal
- photovoltaic (including BIPV)
- biomass heating systems
- heat pump technology
- ventilation and heat recovery
- prefabricated / modular housing
- building envelope / facade systems
- triple glazed passivhaus windows
- structural timber systems (including glulam and cross laminated timber products)
Seminar Series
Advantage Austria is proud to be running two Passivhaus seminars at Ecobuild. The first explores the use of ventilation systems (MVHR) and Building Information Modelling (BIM); the second discusses how demand for Passivhaus buldings can be developed in the UK market.
Advantage Austria is also running a seminar on modular timber systems, examining how composite and cross laminated systems can be used for sustainable high-rise urban development.
