Seven galleries from Austria exhibited at Frieze Art Fair in London

Celebrating its fifth year, Frieze Art Fair took place in London's Regents's Park on 11-14 October. 151 of the world’s most exciting contemporary art galleries from 28 countries exhibited in a large temporary structure of nearly 21,000 square meters and confirmed that Frieze Art Fair has established itself as one of the world’s best known and most influential art fairs.

The following seven galleries from Austria showed works of Austrian and international artists at the show:

- Galerie Martin Janda
- Georg Kargl
- Galerie Krinzinger
- Galerie Krobath Wimmer
- Galerie Meyer Kainer
- Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac
- Gabriele Senn Galerie

There are about 92 modern art galleries in Austria and together with 420 museums, 32 exhibition halls, 70 festivals and 19 art and antiques fairs they enrich the cutural nation that is Austria. Most of the galleries are members of the Association of Austrian Modern Art Galleries (in German).
