Pharmacies have rotating Sunday and evening opening hours, with closed pharmacies displaying the contact details of the nearest open pharmacy.

Health Insurance
Citizens insured in the EEC (EU, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway) and Switzerland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, Croatia and Macedonia can receive the same emergency medical treatment as citizens insured in Austria. This is dependant on a holiday health insurance certificate issued before arrival in Austria.
