50th anniversary marks launch of Futura 3rd Generation Sunglasses

The Austrian world leader of creating stylish and innovative, quality eyewear has re-invented Futura for the brand’s 50th anniversary. Tali Lennox features as the ‘face of’ the futuristic, minimal and chic sunglasses designed and made in Austria.

The launch of the Futura Limited Edition, 3rd Generation Frames sets a minimalist benchmark in fashion: state-of-the-art design successfully combined with retro style and high-tech innovation.

The original Futura model by Silhouette , first available in 1974, was worn by Elton John, and now the 3rd generation is launched as a reinterpretation by designer Gerhard Fuchs. Space style meets minimal chic to emanate future style and the third millennium. Tali Lennox — model and daughter of Eurythmics star Annie Lennox — is the face of the new campaign, shot by legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh.
