EBRD: Georgia is most anti-corrupt state in Europe

Fischer made the statement during a meeting with Georgian State Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze, who is attending an international conference on Ukraine-EU relations as a special guest.

"According to the bank's global analysis, Georgia is a very anti-corrupt state,” Fisher said.

He added that despite the global crisis Georgia is continuing to develop steadily.

Fisher noted that the EBRD will continue to support Georgia, and will consider a request by the Georgian side to place a special emphasis on financial support to the private sector.
