Upper Austrian company Doleschal acts as a supplier to the catering industry in over 60 countries. Doleschal, based in Steyr, was the first Austrian company to manufacture cooker parts, sinks and fitted kitchen elements from stainless steel.

Doleschal Edelstahlanlagen GmbH is one of Upper Austria's leading exporters. The company is currently working on major supply contracts in Russia, the USA and the Ukraine. Doleschal is specialised in the production of stainless steel units such as smoke units, cooling rooms, roasting units, freezer stores, air conditioning and pre- and post-ripening units, steaming and kettle units. These are used in commercial and industrial operations for fish and meat processing. The Steyr company generates 15% of revenue in Austria. The lion's share, 85%, is exported to over 60 countries across the globe. The company has been operating since 1912, when it exclusively produced hobs and ovens. In 1937 Doleschal became the first Austrian company to start producing cooker parts, sinks and fitted kitchen elements from stainless steel.
