The long established Upper Austrian company Spitz is looking to increase exports: Spitz has, in this capacity, created new export products, specifically tailored to the needs of the customer in individual countries - especially in the Middle East and North Africa.
Last year 3,000 tonnes of baked goods left the Spitz factory in Attnang-Puchheim for countries outside the EU; primarily the USA, the Middle East and North Africa. Spitz primarily uses organic ingredients in its products. The company achieved a turnover increase of 6.3% to EUR 219 million, and this year turnover is expected to be EUR 235 million.
