Amstetten, a small town in Lower Austria, is home to Umdasch AG, which is a player in the champion's league of formwork technology and shopping. The family-owned trust operates across the globe with 170 subsidiaries in 65 countries and has achieved an export quota of 90%. Last year the company leapt over the billion Euro turnover mark and showed a 21% increase. Especially high demand was reported by Umdasch in central and eastern Europe. 7,500 employees have turned the trust into an international provider of formwork technology (under the brand "Doka") and of shopfitting. Where formwork technology is concerned, Umdasch provide the additional services of planning and logistics through to renting and repairing formwork appliances. Customers also receive planning by architects and designers, in accordance with their wishes in the area of shop fitting.
