Austrian presence on the 2nd International Exhibition on Environmental Technologies and Photovoltaic Systems in Athens

The 2nd International Exhibition on Environmental Technologies and Photovoltaic Systems in Athens has been very successful and has now established a longed-for exhibition event in the field of green technologies. The exhibition lasted 4 days, during which more than 170 exhibitioners presented their products and innovations. Renewable energy sources, recycling, waste management, environmental protection, energy saving technologies and biofuels were just a few of the environmental technologies presented in Ecotec 2009.

Austria, a pioneer in green technologies, has also been strongly represented in the exhibition with three successful companies presenting their innovative products. Intergeo, the Fronius International GmbH and HOBAS have attracted the attention of guests and experts in the field.

INTERGEO is active in soil and groundwater remediation and investigation as well as in hazardous waste treatment (mainly contaminated sludges and soil) and asbestos removal from buildings.

The Fronius International GmbH with its latest grid-connected PV inverter series “Fronius IG Plus” is known as quality leader for grid-connected PV inverters as well as for professional PV system monitoring.
The automatic transformer switching function in Fronius IG Plus inverters enables three efficiency peaks. This is why those inverters differ from products of other manufacturers that reach only one efficiency peak.

HOBAS is an international company which offers flexible, high performance pipe systems. It manufactures and markets HOBAS CC-GRP (centrifugally cast glass fiber reinforced plastics) Pipe Systems and supplies advanced production technology and know-how to a steadily growing customer base.
