After a long-term pre-implementation phase, Mr. Harald Tober and Mr. Hans Cenker from the Austrian company PV-Bestsolar officially inaugurated a new PV solar module installation. Facts and figures are an installed capacity of 99,82kwp, a module of 434 pieces Astom 230 poly, 4 pieces Refusol 20 k, an output of 144.700kwh per year and an annual revenue of 63.000 €.

In this festive atmosphere, the Austrian commercial counselor in Athens, Mr. Bruno Freytag, held an opening speech. On the one hand he addressed the severe situation of Greece, yet he at the same time shared his perspective on how Greece will eventually recover from the financial crisis as a stronger, newly structured and reformed country. Moreover, he did not neglect to highlight that there is immense potential for the branch of renewable energy sources in Greece, a view which entirely coincides with PV-Bestsolar’s standpoint on the matter.
The director of the Greek power supply company DEI Mr. Emanolidis was also present and guaranteed further support from his side, in terms of effective and rapid feeding into the electricity-grid.
Numerous attendees from Austria and Germany, amongst which PV-Bestsolar partner firms and associates (such as the company lawyer Mr. Dirk Reinhardt), also joined the event.
All in all, the opening of PV Installation in Sidirokastro provided an excellent opportunity to thoroughly discuss prospects of PV projects in Greece and to solve relevant queries. Most importantly though, it offered an insight and deep sense of understanding of what competent project handling and development entails.
