New Austrian Ambassador Dr. Klaus Woelfer presented his credentials 30. January 2007

On January 30th 2007 the new Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Dr. Klaus Woelfer, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Gen.(ret) Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the Presidential Palace.
Dr. Klaus Woelfer was born on April 5th 1956 in Austria´s capital Vienna and is married to Jakarta born Diane and has two children.
After graduating with a Doctorate in Laws of the University of Vienna and the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna he joined the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1981. He served as a diplomat in the Austrian Embassies in Rome / Italy, Belgrade / Yugoslavia and Budapest / Hungary and headed the Austrian Cultural Institute in Rome / Italy from 1996 – 2002 and the Directorate General for Cultural Affairs of the Austrian Federal Chancellery from 2002 – 2006.
