Award for Austrian biomass heating technology

For a number of years, Austrian companies have attracted considerable interest at Ireland ’s largest sustainable construction exhibition, the Sustainable Building Show in Dublin .
This year, Austrian know-how in sustainable building products and renewable technologies was rewarded with the ‘New Product of the Show Award’ for biomass heating systems specialist FRÖLING .
The Sustainable Building Show, which ran from 18 – 20 September 2008 in Dublin’s RDS, is Ireland’s platform for everything new and innovative on the sustainable building market. The Austrian Pavilion hosted two biomass heating technology companies, ETA Heiztechnikand award-winner Fröling, eco-friendly building experts EBP, passive- house and bespoke timber building protagonists Griffner Haus AG, window manufacturers Hrachowina, alternative energy systems specialists  SOLARFOCUS,cellulose thermal insulation providerISOCELLand heat pumps supplier Ochsner. 
Further exhibitors were Schafferholz(softwood supplier), Thermaflex-Flexalen (prefabricated pipe systems), VPG Verbundsysteme(construction services and form work) and Wo&Wo(awning, blinds and roller-shutters).
