Urban Technologies from Austria Showcase

On the 7 October a Showcase of Urban Technologies from Austria took place in the Shelbourne Hotel Dublin after the Irish Austrian Business Forum. Ten of the finest examples from Austria's industry took part as well as Tina Vienna with the Smart City Wien initiative.

Austria is well known for it's successful "Mittelstand" companies. About 200 of these hidden champions, world leaders in their niches, but largely unknown to the wider public. Austria is also a leader in sustainability with many "Mittelstand" companies enjoying world export success with their innovative solutions for energy, mobility and sustainable construction.
