Startups from the South of Austria get an impression of Dublin's infrastructure for startups

17 July 2017

Young entrepreneurs from Carinthia were interested to learn about Irish success stories

From 5 to 7 July, Advantage Austria Dublin welcomed a delegation of 40 founders of startups, journalists, lecturers from the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences and representatives both from the Carinthian Economic Chamber and the federal government of Carinthia.

The group was keen to find out about supports offered by multinationals like IBM, Google and Microsoft during company visits, but also to hear directly about the experience of an Irish Startup (bikelook) from its founder Mark Bennett.

Other highlights included a meeting with the Startup Commissioner for Dublin and a tour of the Guinness Enterprise Centre.

This study tour was part financed by the federal state of Carinthia.
