Austrian Catalogue Exhibition in Bethlehem

On May 3 rd , the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy organized a Catalogue Exhibition together with the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce in their permanent exhibition grounds in Bethlehem . This event was part of the activities of the Austrian Cultural Week in the Governorate of Bethlehem.

More than one hundred local business people attended this event and the Chairman of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Samir Hazboun, gave a welcome address at the start of the exhibition, in which he urged for a more active involvement of the Austrian business community. Furthermore, he asked for more support to find Austrian importers for Palestinian products.
Hopefully, this catalogue display will be the start for further activities, such as an Austrian Trade and Fact Finding Mission to Bethlehem and the Palestinian Autonomy. DVDs and short films about Austrian companies were also shown and played throughout the event.
