Diamond Aircrafts for IGRUA National flight academy of India puts trust in Diamond Aircraft products 21. April 2008

Diamond Aircraft Industries will equip Indira Gandhi Rashtveni Urani Akademi (IGRUA) with 14 DA 40-TDI with Garmin G1000, two DA 42-TDI aircraft and three simulators from Diamond Simulation.

Diamond Aircraft Industries will equip Indira Gandhi Rashtveni Urani Akademi (IGRUA) with 14 DA 40-TDI with Garmin G1000, two DA 42-TDI aircraft and three simulators from Diamond Simulation.
IGRUA is the national premier flying school in India and provides CPL with multiengine endorsement. It also trains pilots from other S.E. Asia countries and is known for setting the standard in flight training in S.E. Asia. It is currently led by Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) SC Malhan, a distinguished officer of the highly professional Indian Airforce. IGRUA is currently growing its output to 100 pilots a year.
This government contract has been achieved together with Diamond´s distributor in India, PCI ltd.
It is a very important step for Diamond Aircraft Industries and PCI ltd. into the Flight Training and General Aviation market in the constantly growing economy of India.
