Rosenbauer signs contract with Airports Authority of India 6. October 2008

The Airports Authority of India orders 40 PANTHER 6x6 ARFF special fire service vehicles   

ROSENBAUER, the world leader in the special fire service vehicle sector, has signed a contract with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) worth some EUR 18.5 million for a total of 40 PANTHER 6x6 ARFF vehicles with the provision of crew training.

The vehicles are to be supplied in phased deliveries to various Indian airports by the middle of 2010.

ROSENBAUER already received an order for PANTHER vehicles from the AAI in 2007 and at present, a total of 37 vehicles are in operation at the international airports in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Trivandrum and Nanded. The new order from the Airport Authority means that in future some 80 ROSENBAUER PANTHERS will be on the prowl in India.
