Indian and Austrian Consultants sign Cooperation Agreement 20. October 2007

 EEPC and AIC signed Memorandum of Understanding for information exchange and business promotion on 3rd October, 2007
 

India and Austria have identified ways and means of stepping up bilateral trade between the two countries and furthering cooperation in the knowledge-oriented service industry. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 3rd October, 2007, between Rakesh Shah, Chairman, Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) and Hannes Posch, President of the umbrella organisation, Austrian International Consultants (AIC). Apart from intense mutual exchange of information and experience it was agreed that contacts and cooperation between member companies should be promoted.

In addition to export and import between India and Austria, transfer and exchange of knowledge is gaining greater significance. There is a requirement of Austrian know-how in the extremely fast-growing Indian market, specially in the fields of infrastructure and environmental technologies.
