Vienna-based Wienerberger AG, the world's biggest brickmaker aims to open as many as 10 brick making sites in India

 

The Austrian company Wienerberger AG, the world's largest producer of clay bricks for walls, facades and second in clay roof tile production, is all set to open its first factory in India next year as the country's booming economy and growth in middle class population continues to boost developments in real estate sector. Wienerberger's CEO Wolfgang Reithofer thinks India's population "brick-minded".
