Spitz, an Austrian producer of 300 different food items including 120 beverages is launching its successful energy drink ‘Power Horse’ in India.

Spitz, an Austrian producer of 300 different food items including 120 beverages is launching its successful energy drink ‘Power Horse’ in India. The drink is already being sold in 36 different countries around the world and is the market leader in Saudi-Arabia, Yemen and Nigeria.
Now Spitz is targeting the Indian market, which it plans to supply from its subsidiary in Bombay. Furthermore the company is putting great expectations in the launch of its new 400ml can.

While this business year Spitz's sales grew by 6,2% to 218,7 million Euros, export sales registered a 10% growth to 77 million Euros. Especially sales figures in the Arabian area, for which Spitz adjusted the formulation of its fruit juices, have been doing extremely well. Even more impressive was the 20% growth of its energy drink ‘Power Horse’ of which the company has been able to sell 60 million cans.
