Raiffeisen Bank International: "Best Bank in CEE & CIS"
At the “Europe Banking Awards 2011” of the renowned magazine EMEA Finance Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) was awarded the title “Best Bank in CEE & CIS”. At the same time RBI was chosen as the “Best Bank in Austria” and “Best Investment Bank in Austria”. “Best Bank” awards also went to RBI subsidiaries in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Slovakia. In addition the RBI subsidiary ZAO Raiffeisenbank in Russia took the title “Best Foreign Bank” and Raiffeisen Centrobank AG in Bulgaria was awarded the title “Best Investment Bank”.
Following on from the Global Finance magazine, this is now the second international award within mere weeks. These awards are a testament to the success of RBI’s approach.
In Austria RBI operates as a leading commercial and investment bank. RBI has long been represented in Central and Eastern Europe – where it started out as a pioneer in 1987 – operating as a universal bank with a broad network of subsidiary banks, leasing companies and financial service providers.
