Building and Shaping the City of Singapore

The construction industry needs ever more innovative, cost-efficient and ultra-high safety formwork engineering solutions. Modular climbing-formwork from Doka is often the answer to these super-high requirements.

The Marina Bay Financial Centre, which sits right in the heart of the financial city, has a breathtaking blend of three office towers offering nearly 280,000 m² of office space. Doka delivered formwork and safety systems for Tower III.

The in-situ concrete core of the 240m tall Ocean Financial Centre was ‘climbed’ in using the high-performing Xclimb 60 Automatic Climbing formwork, in a five-day cycle. To guarantee workplace safety, Doka used the Xclimb 60 protection screen.

Connexion, due for completion in 2013, will be Singapore's first fully-integrated hospital, hotel and medical centre. Doka supplied the Self Climbing XClimb system, SKE 100 for cores and Dokamatic tables with TLS for slab.

The successful construction of many other developments such as Mapletree Anson, and The Metropolis, destined to become home to the region’s finest research facilities and business parks, was largely due to Doka’s expertise.

Doka is shaping Singapore’s buildings by using formwork materials in a more cost efficient and safer environment.
