Expansion of hydropower in Austria: approx. 60 - 70%

Wind energy 2014

1,016 wind power plants with an output of 2,095 MW are currently feeding power into the public grid which equals the power output of one nuclear reactor. These wind engines generate around 4.5 bn kilowatt hours electrical power – enough to supply 1.3 million households with electricity.
