Bringing sparkle to Australia and New Zealand

Swarovski, the world-famous Austrian producer of crystal products, opened its first subsidiary outside Europe in Sydney in 1969. Today, the company has a presence on all major high-streets in Australia and New Zealand.

Swarovski , still family-owned and run by 5th generation family members, has a local reach with more than 500 employees.

Swarovski comprises two major businesses, one producing and selling loose elements to the industry and the other creating design-driven finished products. Swarovski crystals have become an essential ingredient of international design.

Leading business projects in Australia include:

  • Sydney Opera House: 9m Chandelier featuring thousands of crystals
  • Melbourne Art Centre Hammer Hall: Lifetime exhibition featuring hundreds of metres of crystal rocks and over 60 thousand crystals on 7 spinning architectural structures.
  • Support to local Fashion Schools with sponsorship to top student at UTS Fashion school

Creativity lies at the heart of the company which showcases its own brand lines of accessories, jewellery and home décor in over 40 boutiques in Australia and New Zealand. The Swarovski Crystal Society has close to 20 000 members across Australia and New Zealand.
