Sprinkler systems for agriculture across the globe

Iraq and Laos have now joined the list of countries using products from an Austrian company to maintain their agricultural self-sufficiency.

Founded in 1930 and initally called  “Röhren- und Pumpenwerk Bauer”, the Bauer Gruppe has come a long way from its beginnings as a company for pipes and pumping plants.

Today, the group's main areas of activity lie in sprinkler, waste and energy management. The sprinkler systems supplied by this global market leader from Austria increase annual harvest yields and self-sufficiency levels with agricultural products in multiple countries around the world.

In 2010, the Bauer Group received one of the largest single orders in the sprinkler industry to date. The Iraqi Federal Ministry of Water Management commissioned the company with the construction of 250 large sprinkler systems for the irrigation of an area averaging 25,000 hectares.

Bauer continues to be a truely global company. In another part of the world, Laos is currently in the process of increasing its annual harvest volumes by up to 100% with sprinkler systems from Bauer.
