International raw materials conference EUMICON 2012

Austria will be the meeting point for the international raw materials industry in September. Top decisionmakers and leaders from the worlds of politics, business and science will come together in Leoben from 19th to 21st September for the European Mineral Resources Conference EUMICON 2012. – Registration is kindly requested by 5th September 2012.
The three days of the conference will see discussions on strategies and solutions for the future of the European raw materials industry. In addition EUMICON 2012 will examine the mineral resource policies of the future from a scientific, political and economic perspective.
The conference, which will be held at the internationally renowned Montanuniversität Leoben, will take stock of the raw materials industry to an extent rarely seen before in Europe. A total of seven panels will give top experts the opportunity to engage in discussions with participants on the most varied aspects of the raw materials industry.
Top-class keynote speakers taking part include the Secretary General of OPEC, Abdalla Salem El-Badri, Nobel Prize winner for physics, Johannes Bednorz, numerous top representatives of international corporations and European trade associations as well as leading representatives from the worlds of science and research.
