The Austrian technology group will supply all production technologies and equipment for the Brazilian Fibria pulp mill Horizonte 2.

Tres Lagoas in Brazil is home to one of the world's largest production sites for eucalyptus pulp production. The existing production line will be complemented by another line, which will increase annual capacity to 3 million tonnes.

The Austrian technology group ANDRITZ is part of this project with an order worth several hundred-million euros. ANDRITZ will deliver the complete fiberline as well as the recovery island, including all relevant process steps for the "Horizonte 2" pulp line - one of the largest private investment projects in Brazil. Start-up of the new production line is scheduled for the 4th quarter 2017 and is set to create around 3,000 jobs.

This tender is a further chapter in the ANDRITZ success story. In the first half 2015 Group revenue rose by 13% to EUR 3 bn. ANDRITZ employs around 25,000 staff at 250 locations in more than 40 countries.
