Voestalpine wins Latvian railway contract
Voestalpine VAE Riga, the subsidiary of the Austrian steel company Voestalpine, has won an EUR 2.2 Mio. contract from the Latvian railway authorities.According to the information of The Procurement Monitoring Bureau, they were the only ones who have submitted an offer in the tender.
Voestalpine VAE Riga will install and deliver switches for the railway. Since 1994 is the company in Latvia and the main tasks are to supply railway and tram companys in Baltic and Nordic countrys.
