Austrian Trade @ DSA 2008 26. May 2008

Defense Service Asia Exhibition proved  to be the major security products event in Malaysia and Austrian Trade took actively part in it.

After a series of successful participations in previous years Austrian Trade participated again this year from 21 to 24 April in DSA 2008 with an impressive Austrian Pavilion. This biannual Defence Services Exhibition has developed over the past 20 years into an important regional event for the defence industry. This year over 700 exhibitors from 42 countries have exhibited their products in a vast area of 42,000 m2 in 7 different halls at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. With 25,000 registered visitors and numerous official delegations from all over the world this year’s event has topped all previous records.

A group of five Austrian highly specialized manufacturers of defense and security products showcased their latest technologies and expertise at this prestigious event.

• Raytech VertriebsgmbH – Integrated Harness Systems
• Sail Labs Technology AG – Media Mining System
• Steyr Mannlicher – Small Arms

Additionally, the Austrian company Glock GmbH presented their hand guns at a big booth at Hall 6 and RIKA Sport GmbH their target systems and energy drinks for Armed Forces at their booth at Hall 3.

Austrian Trade will be back with another Austrian Pavilion at the next DSA from 19 to 22 April 2010.
