Workshop 'Railway Technology from Austria'

 Austrian Trade recently welcomed 11 Austrian companies presenting their latest technologies and more than 90 interested Malaysian players in the railways industry to a workshop on railway technology from  Austria. It was a great success!

Austria has a long standing tradition in rail transportation. So it is no surprise that many Austrian companies developed outstanding railway technologies. 
Austrian Trade was proud to present 11 companies in a Railway Technology Workshop on March 4th, 2009 at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel.

Tuan Hj. Anuar bin Kassim – Director General of the Department of Railways opened our event and interest within the Malaysian railway industry was high. More than 90 representatives of all railway operators, the major railway contractors and engineering firms listened to the presentations and could get an interesting update on new technologies. Austrian Trade is sure that Austrian companies will actively contribute new expertise to the development of the Malaysian rail mass transportation network.
